プロフィール：
rは数年間にわたるUKでの生活のあと、日本でDJ活動を始める。
UKにおいてレイブ、クラブシーンの隆盛を目の当たりにし、パーティー文化をここ日本でも根付かせようと思いたち、音楽性よりもパーティー性を重視したDJスタイルで、過去幾度となくクラブシーンでプレイをしてきた。延べ4000時間以上に及ぶ現場でのDJプレイは、常に新しいスタイルを意識しつつも、昔のクラブを彷彿とさせるようなサウンドの展開をｒに身につけさせた。
2004年にクラブ活動をいったん休止し、ホームパーティーや、ショップ、クラブ、レストランにおける新しいかたちでのクラブ・ダンスミュージックの提供を考え、中央線的快楽音楽、www.c-les.comを立ち上げる。 r という名称は、DJとはパーティーにおける料理のパセリのようなもの（おまけの\ようなもの）という考えに基づき、パーティーの中心はあくまでもフロアーで踊っているお客さんで、DJはAnnonymous(別に重要視することのない匿名の存在）であるという思いと願いに基づいている。

Profile
r started DJing in 1996, after several years of life in UK.
Having experienced the birth and rise of dance music, he decided to devote himself to the promotion of dance culture in his homeland.
Since then, he has been DJing in a number of clubs in Tokyo. He was a resident at the legendary free rave party, ToGetHer, between 2001 and 2004, while doing his shows at major venues such as Womb, Module, Core, Blue and Club Citta Kawasaki.
Over 5000 hours of DJing at such venues have given him a very flexible and particular style of DJing. House music based, but many other genres of music included. He mixes a set of selected tracks only once, and every time he DJs, the mix will contain a different flavour, but always with distinctive "r" style groove embedded. He has a unique idea that DJ is merely an optional existence at the club, and true main actors there are always the clubbers themselves.
Thus his name should remained anonymous, and his DJ name "r" was brought about.
In 2004, he decided to provide dance music to broader range of audience, and set up the internet radio website, www.c-les.com. Since then he now devotes himself to create a community of skillful DJs in Japan.
