Ryan Ellis
Since starting out at Majestica back in 2001 at the Venue in Edinburgh, Ryan has had a challenging, yet rewarding journey through his DJing life. His eclectic taste in music has always led him to discover and share different sounds through DJing. After Majestica, Ryan went on to become resident at two other top Edinburgh clubs Karnival and Stereotype and has guested at many of Edinburgh's top nights including warm-ups for some of his favourite DJs and live acts such as Popof, Switch (aka Dave Taylor), Andrew Weatherall, Dubfire, Funk D'Void, Tom Neville, Smokin Jo and Booka Shade to name a few!
Ryan's style has varied through the years and at the moment he likes a bit of tech house and techno while also embracing the squelchy sounds of fidget house. That combined with indie-electro crossover has been up there with his favourite sounds. Ryan makes his debut on Moon Patrol, and we are already looking forward to welcoming him back later in the year.

Ryan Ellis (らいあん・えりす）
2001年, the Venueにて開催されていたMajesticaへの出演以降、Ryanは挑戦の多いDＪキャリアを歩んでいる。彼の多彩でエッジの効いた音楽のセンスはDJプレイを重ねるごとに新しい音を発見させている。Majestica出演以降、RyanはKarnival、 Stereotypeといったエディンバラのトップクラブでのレジデンシーを獲得。同時にエディンバラの著名イベントでの前座を務めるようになり、Popof、 Switch (Dave Taylor)、 Andrew Weatherall、 Dubfire、 Funk D'Void、 Tom Neville、Smokin Jo、 Booka Shadeなどを共演をした。現在はテクノ、テックハウスとともにブレイクビーツやUKガラージを織り交ぜる"fidget house"の要素を取り入れたDJがプレイスタイルとなっている。またそれにエレクトロもと要りいれることもあり、そのようなクロスオーバースタイルが彼の好みでもある。今月moon patrolに初参戦。また本年度末にも彼はプレイする運びとなっている。彼のプレイに期待したい。
